- Carefully strip the cover and bottom cloth.
- Make a pattern for the new cover.
- Remove all existing foams, liners, webbing, staples, tacks and cushion fillings.
- Order and pick up all the materials he will need to complete the job.
- Clean and check the frame before making any necessary repairs, carrying out alterations or adding bracing to strengthen.
- Inspect the spring/suspension system and repair or replace as required.
- Check the feet/castors and repair, resurface or replace these where necessary.
- Rebuild the bodywork including webbing, liners and main body foams.
- Cut and sew the new cover, and any additional cushions.
- Attach the new cover to the main body, complete with bottom cloth.
- Insert new cushion fillings into the cushion covers.
- Make a final inspection of the suite.
- Re-deliver the finished item and accept payment.
